RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT
DEVELOPMENT OF NEW TECHNOLOGIES
GRAPHENE/GEL COMPOSITE
Graphene/gel composite and its applications in cosmetology
Aim: The development and implementation of the technology of producing graphene/gel composite with antibacterial properties (acne treatment) and capable of regenerating skin and hair tissue.
PLAN
IMPLEMENTATION PATHWAY
- The initiation of the work on the functionalisation of graphene oxide flakes – in terms of the optimisation of the mechanism of graphene gel embedding and using bioactivity for the surface regeneration of tissue structures,
- Optimisation of graphene oxide/gel composite – laboratory-scale technology,
- Tests concerning the application of graphene oxide,
- Scaling of the technology
CONDUCTED STUDIES
GRAPHENE OXIDE CYTOTOXICITY STUDY
Graphene Oxide Cytotoxicity Study conducted by the Warsaw Medical University Department of Transplantology and Central Tissue Bank, by dr. Ewa Olender, for the Military University of Technology Biomedical Engineering Centre.
